Pastor Jim gave very practical advice and teaching this week on the power of God‘s Word and how to put it into practice for any problem that we are facing.
See the outline below to help you implement this method for your situation. God is faithful!
His Word is alive, active, and powerful.
1. What is the problem you are facing in this life? Think about it. Jesus came that you would have life and life more abundantly. He has the answer in His Word.
2. What are God’s promises in God’s Word concerning your problem?
3. Confess and decree that Word concerning your problem out of your mouth daily or several times a day. Faith comes by hearing. Psalm 103:20
4. Apply God’s Word to your problem. Be a doer of God‘s Word and not just a hearer only.
RELATIONSHIPS
The Living Word message equipped us with practical prayers based entirely on the Word for the many different aspects of our life. One prayer had a focus on relationships. We can't change other people, but we can change ourselves while we pray for the other people. Scroll to read & save a prayer for relationships, as well as to get supporting scriptures. Copy & save it somewhere you have easy access to it. Father, I thank you for Godly relationships in my life. Lord if any of my relationships are not of you, I ask you to cut them off so that I will walk in the relationships that you have for me. Thank you Lord that I do all I can to walk in peace with all my relationships. I declare that I walk in favor with both you and man. Lord I declare that you have poured out your love in my heart by the Holy Spirit. So I am patient and kind. I will not be boastful, proud or rude. I will not demand my own way. I will not be irritable or keep records of when I am wronged. I will not rejoice when there is injustice but I will rejoice with truth. I thank you Lord that because of your love, I will never give up, never lose faith but will always be hopeful and endure through every circumstance. Lord I will make allowances for the people around me and forgive everyone who offends me. I thank you Lord that I will not gossip but I will be a good friend to those around me. Heal my heart of any hurt and father let all those that I have offended forgive me. Show me if I need to ask forgiveness of anyone, even if I don’t realize that I offended them.
In Jesus name…Amen
